This PDF e-book contains detailed step-by-step instructions on how I took and edited 10 of my favourite macro photos I have ever taken, during my 8+ years as a macro photographer. They were taken in different locations, in different times of the year, with different equipment.

Delivered to you instantly upon payment, as a PDF file suited to read on all kinds of screens, including smartphones – this is a digital book only.

For each of the ten photos, you will get:

  • Weather, location and time when I took it
  • What lens, camera, flash, diffuser etc. was used
  • What camera settings I used
  • Anything special I was thinking about for this particular photo to make it turn out great
  • I will show the raw photo as it looked straight from the camera
  • How I edited the colors of the photo
  • How I edited the exposure, shadows, highlights etc.
  • How I cropped the photo and my thinking when selecting a crop

My idea with this e-book is to write the story of each photo. In 77 pages I go into detail about the gear and technique used to capture each of the 10 photos, as well as the editing afterwards. The thinking is that by reading these stories, it will deepen your understanding of macro photography and all the steps and considerations that need to be made to make a good photo.

You could say my aim with this e-book is for me to take you with me, inside my head, during the process of making a finished macro photo. It is 10 case studies so that you can learn my real workflow from real situations. I include everything I am thinking before, during and after taking the photo. You can see this book as a complement and a companion to my Macro Photography Handbook.
